Fiat details Future Plans For Electrification

Italian carmaker Fiat has announced big plans for more electric cars from next year. Although the description of the electric vehicle has not yet been confirmed, it is predicted that the model will not be far from the iconic figure of the Fiat 500.

Car enthusiasts and automotive observers globally, may still remember when FCA, now under the direction of the Stellantis Group, plans to return with the iconic Fiat 500 but this time in electric form.

Fiat will introduce a new supermini in 2023 followed by three new crossover models in the next three years (2026).

Fiat’s long-term business strategy leaks, namely launching at least 10 models for the small vehicle market share (domestic circulation) and 5 global models.

“Now we are entering a new world. In the next five years, we will launch one new car per year per region. – and globally we can make a car that is common everywhere in the world, which is something we have been striving for in the future. then,” explains Olivier Francois, CEO of Fiat.
