Rightech has expanded its lineup of battery-electric vehicles with the introduction of two new buses designed for urban transport: the Rightech RB9 and Rightech RB6.

These models bring sustainable mobility solutions with advanced battery technology and impressive range capabilities, catering to both short and medium-distance transit needs.

The Rightech RB9 is a nine-meter-long battery-electric bus built to accommodate urban transit demands efficiently. It is powered by a 282 kWh LFP battery supplied by CATL, offering a driving range of up to 300 kilometers on a full charge. The RB9 supports fast charging at 150 kW, allowing it to recharge from 20% to 80% state of charge (SoC) in just 1 hour and 24 minutes. This ensures minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency for fleet operators.

Under the hood, the RB9 is equipped with a 245 kW peak power electric motor, delivering an impressive 3,300 Nm of maximum torque. With a wheelbase of 4.54 meters, it provides a spacious and comfortable ride. The bus can accommodate up to 57 passengers, with 27 seated and ample standing room, making it an ideal choice for city transit systems.

For routes that require a more compact vehicle, the Rightech RB6 is a six-meter-long bus tailored for efficient urban transport. Despite its smaller size, it delivers reliable performance with an 89 kWh LFP battery, also sourced from CATL, enabling a range of approximately 196 kilometers on a single charge. Similar to the RB9, it supports 150 kW DC fast charging, allowing it to reach 20% to 80% SoC in just 37 minutes.
