The Renault Megane E-Tech Electric is the production version of the Megane eVision. This crossover has a sporty appearance and an upscale cabin with a myriad of technologies.
The car is available with two battery options and promises a range of up to 470 km per charge.
The Megane E-Tech Electric features a wavy hood, a new logo, sleek LED headlights and wide air vents.
The car is flanked by an ORVM with indicators, flush door handles at the front, “hidden” handles at the back, and 20-inch wheels.
A wide LED light bar and shark fin antenna are available at the rear. In terms of dimensions, this car has a length of 4,210 mm and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
This car uses an electric motor with two options: 130 hp/250 Nm and 218 hp/300 Nm. The 40 kWh and 60 kWh batteries promise a range of 300 km and 470 km, respectively. This car is capable of going from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and has a top speed of 160 km/h.
The Renault Megane E-Tech Electric features a black 5-seater cabin featuring upholstery made from recycled materials and a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel.
The cabin has an inverted L-shaped digital dashboard called the ‘OpenR’ display which includes a 12.3-inch driver’s screen and a 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (the cheaper variant gets a 9.0-inch screen). Multiple airbags ensure the safety of its passengers.
