Everything You should know about Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 specifications

Called BST Edition 270, this special edition Polestar 2 comes inspired by the Polestar experimental car that will appear at the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

“We’ve had great reactions to the modified Polestar 2 that we’re showing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed ā€‹ā€‹in 2021,” said Thomas Ingenlath, Chief Executive Officer of Polestar.

“The response was clear, we had to get a version of the car into production,” added Ingenlath.

Like the Polestar experimental car at Goodwood, the Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 gets two more powerful all-wheel-drive electric motors.

Following the latest system update, the Polestar 2 electric motor now produces a combined power of 350 kW or 476 hp and 680 Nm of torque. This edition of the Polestar 2 is rumored to have a choice of a 50 kW or 68 hp motor.

Of course, in addition to more stable power, the Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 gets special treatment that the ordinary Polestar 2 doesn’t get.

Starting from the chassis, the Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 is 25 mm lower and equipped with a 2-way hlins suspension that can be adjusted in the front trunk area.

This special edition Polestar 2 is enhanced with strut bars, 20% tougher springs, and 21-inch rims inspired by the Polestar 1 rims.

The rims are also wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires specially developed for the Polestar 2 BST Edition 270.

In terms of appearance, the Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 is available in two color options, namely Thunder or Snow.

It also gets painted bumpers and side skirts, black mirror shells, and options for striping in Matte Black or satin wrap Battleship Gray.

Polestar has only released 270 units of this special edition Polestar 2 for America, Europe and China only.
