Hyundai has unveiled the Hyundai EO, a compact electric SUV built on its advanced E-GMP global electric vehicle platform. Available in three variants — Fun, Smart, and Tech — the EO enters pre-sale with prices ranging from 130,000 to 150,000 yuan (approximately USD 18,200 to 21,000).

Designed to offer a blend of futuristic styling, strong performance, and advanced technology, the EO represents Hyundai’s growing ambition in the electric vehicle market.

On the exterior, the Hyundai EO embodies the brand’s latest design philosophy, highlighted by daytime running lights inspired by crystal elements and a distinctive figure-8 pattern that gives it a futuristic identity.

Measuring 4615mm in length, 1875mm in width, and 1675mm (1698mm with roof rails) in height, the EO sits on a 2750mm wheelbase and rides on 20-inch wheels, combining a sporty stance with urban practicality.

Inside, the EO offers a tech-forward cabin centered around a 27-inch dual 4K display that merges the center console and passenger screens into one expansive panel. Traditional gauges are replaced by a heads-up display, while a stepped center console design adds sophistication and ergonomic convenience.

The two-tone, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, along with thoughtful details like dual wireless charging pads, four cup holders, and a retractable compartment cover, enhances comfort and usability for both driver and passengers.

Buyers can select between 64.2 kWh and 88.1 kWh LFP battery packs, resulting in five range variants from 518 km to 722 km (CLTC). Premium amenities such as a Bose sound system, panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, double-layered soundproof glass, electric tailgate, and multiple driving modes round out the package, underscoring Hyundai’s commitment to blending luxury, performance, and practicality in its latest electric SUV.
