The Arcfox Alpha T7 is a mid-to-large fastback SUV offered in both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) configurations, targeting China’s competitive family SUV market. With multiple powertrain options, long driving ranges, high-voltage charging technology and available advanced driver-assistance systems, the Alpha T7 is positioned for buyers seeking a larger electric SUV below the 200,000-yuan price range.

Arcfox Alpha T7 Pricing and Variants

The Alpha T7 is offered in nine rear-wheel-drive variants. Subsidized pre-sales prices range from 137,800 yuan ($20,320) to 174,800 yuan, while list prices range from 141,800 yuan to 178,800 yuan. Each variant receives a 4,000-yuan pre-sales discount.

The EREV lineup consists of four variants, with the 1315 Plus as the entry-level model. The BEV lineup includes five variants, starting with the 650 Plus, which has a subsidized pre-sales price of 140,800 yuan.

The pricing places the Alpha T7 in China’s highly competitive mass-market SUV segment, where automakers are increasingly using larger vehicle dimensions, intelligent driving technology and high-voltage charging to appeal to family buyers with budgets below 200,000 yuan.

Dimensions and Cargo Capacity

The Alpha T7 measures 5,020 mm in length and has a 3,040 mm wheelbase. Its fastback SUV design combines a large body with a sloping rear profile.

The trunk provides 645 liters of standard cargo capacity, which expands to 1,845 liters with the rear seats folded. A 200-liter frunk provides additional storage space.

BEV Powertrain and Battery

The BEV versions feature a motor with a maximum output of 227 kW, while an 800-volt high-voltage platform is standard across the BEV lineup.

The entry-level 650 Plus uses a 75.4 kWh battery and offers a CLTC-rated range of 650 km.

The remaining BEV variants use 84.8 kWh batteries and provide a CLTC range of up to 715 km.

All BEV variants can charge from 30% to 80% in 15 minutes.

EREV Powertrain and Range

The EREV versions combine a 1.5-liter range extender with an electric motor producing a maximum output of 200 kW.

They use a 43.9 kWh battery and provide a CLTC battery-only range of 320 km. Their combined CLTC range reaches 1,315 km.

Unlike the BEV models, the EREV versions use a 400-volt platform. They also take 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.

Battery cells for both the BEV and EREV versions are supplied by CATL.

Intelligent Driving and LiDAR

The Alpha T7 is available with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro, although the system is not standard across the lineup.

Arcfox’s online specifications indicate that four Qiankun-designated variants feature the driver-assistance system and an in-cabin LiDAR.

Some non-Qiankun variants use BAIC’s Yuanjing intelligent driver-assistance system together with a roof-mounted LiDAR.

The entry-level 1315 Plus EREV does not list a branded driver-assistance system and does not feature LiDAR.

Interior and Infotainment

The cabin features a 17.3-inch 3K center screen serving as the primary infotainment display.

The infotainment system integrates ByteDance’s Doubao and Alibaba’s Qwen large language models, bringing AI-based functions into the vehicle’s connected cabin experience.

Suspension and Chassis

The Alpha T7 features CDC continuously variable damping suspension. Its chassis was tuned with input from Magna, providing engineering support during chassis development.
