“The increase in November confirms the positive trend we have observed throughout the year. The automotive market is currently very active, so we expect a strong finish to 2025,” said Mads Rørvig, chief executive of Mobility Denmark, the country’s automotive trade association.

Rørvig said greater clarity on vehicle taxation had helped strengthen consumer confidence. “The clarification of the vehicle tax in the budget agreement has removed a key uncertainty and provides consumers with better conditions for their purchasing decisions,” he said, adding that December was also expected to show strong results. Mobility Denmark expects the number of electric cars on Danish roads to reach one million by 2027.
