Decathlon has announced the upcoming release of its Rockrider E-ACTV 900 e-bike, anticipated to launch later this year. This hybrid model features a double mid-drive motor with a peak power of 600W and a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), making it a notable addition to Decathlon’s electric bicycle lineup.

The Rockrider E-ACTV 900 is the second model in the series, following the E-ACTV 500, which debuted in April. Similar to its predecessor, the new e-bike includes Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to track their rides and modify settings via the Decathlon Ride app.

The e-bike is equipped with a double mid-drive motor that delivers 250W of nominal power and peaks at 600W, providing up to 65 Nm of torque. It is powered by a 694 Wh battery, offering an estimated riding range of up to 130 kilometers (approximately 81 miles) with assistance. A color display positioned between the handlebars presents key information such as speed and assistance controls, along with a USB-C port for device charging. Other notable features include a suspension fork, Tektro T280 hydraulic disc brakes, and 30 lux lights for enhanced visibility.

The 6061 aluminum step-through frame is available in three sizes—small, medium, and large—and comes in two color options: flint gray and bronze green. According to product listings in the UK and the Netherlands, the Rockrider E-ACTV 900 will retail for £2,999.99 and €2,699.99, respectively. While an exact release date remains unconfirmed, the model is expected to hit the market later this year.
