Dachser’s sustainability strategy includes gradually transitioning to zero-emission vehicles and the necessary charging infrastructure. Since January 2022, the company has been sourcing all of its electricity worldwide from renewable energy sources. Dachser plans to increase the number of battery electric vehicle (BEV) and fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) trucks in its network based on performance, charging infrastructure, and cost-effectiveness.
Frederic Ruesche, Managing Director of Renault Trucks in Germany, highlights the collaborative effort in achieving climate protection goals: “We at Renault Trucks are aware that we can only implement a long-term climate protection strategy if we work together. I am therefore all the more pleased that we are working with Dachser to drive forward the reduction of EV emissions in the short and long-haul sector.”
