In a series of significant developments in the ongoing Cybertruck sightings, Tesla’s much-anticipated electric pickup has recently been captured on video while flexing its towing prowess. Additionally, the interior of the Cybertruck’s front trunk, often referred to as the “frunk,” has been unveiled in unprecedented detail.

The first close-up image of the Cybertruck’s frunk provides a glimpse of its true cargo capacity. The image showcases the frunk’s spacious interior, complete with what appears to be a charging or testing cable, providing a sense of scale. Tesla’s engineers have maximized the frunk’s dimensions, compensating for the vehicle’s notably short hood, resulting in a wide and tall storage space.

Although it’s not immediately clear from this angle, there don’t appear to be visible power outlets similar to those found in Ford’s F-150 Lightning’s Mega Power Frunk. However, it’s worth noting that these outlets could be discreetly located on the right-hand side of the frunk. An observation of a small shock absorber at the hood hinge suggests that the frunk’s lid might require manual closure, potentially differentiating it from some competitors that offer powered frunk operation.

In another groundbreaking Cybertruck sighting, the electric pickup was caught towing an enormous ATC ROM 500 trailer, typically used for transporting cars and trucks. The ROM 500 trailer boasts impressive specifications, weighing approximately 3,354 pounds and capable of accommodating payloads of up to 6,636 pounds. Its generous dimensions, spanning 24 feet and 10 inches in length with a width of 102 inches, make it an ideal choice for transporting vehicles, including other electric pickups like the Rivian R1T or even another Cybertruck.

While the video footage does not confirm the contents of the trailer, an observant Rivian R1T owner captured the Cybertruck in action as it navigated city roads while towing the massive car hauler. The video even shows the Cybertruck making a left turn with the substantial trailer in tow, showcasing its towing capabilities.

These recent developments provide enthusiasts and potential buyers with a closer look at the Cybertruck’s innovative design and impressive capabilities, further fueling anticipation for its official release.
