The first dually Cybertruck has been showcased at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, marking the entrance of Tesla’s electric pickup into the realm of traditional truck modifications. After seeing the Cybertruck’s stainless steel body transformed with various wraps and its battery utilized to power everything from welding tools to washing machines, this latest mod brings a new level of rugged appeal to Tesla’s flagship truck.
Crafted by Red’s Miami, a shop known for custom truck builds, this widebody Cybertruck features 26-inch Diesel Wheels paired with 35-inch Fury tires, giving it a bold, heavy-duty look. The front wheels are bolt-on, compatible with the Cybertruck’s original lug nuts, while the rear dually setup includes custom caps bearing the Cybertruck logo.
The dually modification, priced at around $10,000 for the widebody version, is more about showcasing potential customization than enhancing practical performance. Red’s Miami has not disclosed payload or towing capacities for the modified truck, as this build is primarily a concept designed for visual impact at SEMA rather than functional use.
Tesla has yet to comment on how the dually configuration impacts the Cybertruck’s rear-wheel steering, a feature Tesla has emphasized due to its enhanced maneuverability. Powered by the new 48V system, this steering setup allows for tight turning, though it remains uncertain if the additional weight and wider stance of the dually wheels affect this capability. For now, the Cybertruck dually stands as an eye-catching addition to the SEMA lineup, celebrating the growing trend of electric vehicle modifications in the truck community.
