Cupra has revealed the updated versions of its Leon hatchback and Formentor compact SUV, featuring redesigned exteriors and enhanced interiors.

The new exterior design of both models showcases the Cupra logo on the front bonnet, serving as a central point to the aggressive shark-nosed face. Triangular matrix LED lights and a bold lower mouth contribute to the cars’ aggressive look. The rear features the illuminated Cupra logo, framed by the same triangular lighting design. The addition of new matte colors like Century Bronze or Enceladus Grey further enhances the cars’ character.

Inside, the blend of sportiness and sustainability continues, with a range of digital technologies and material choices. The interior boasts a higher quality feel, with newly designed elements such as the central console. It also incorporates new materials, including bucket seats wrapped in either 73% recycled microfiber or environmentally conscious leather.

Digitalization takes center stage in the driver’s focus, with a new and improved Human Machine Interface (HMI) implemented in the digital cockpit behind the steering wheel. The infotainment system is now larger at 12.9 inches and features a retro-illuminated slider.

Both models come equipped with a new high-fidelity 12-speaker audio sound system developed in collaboration with Sennheiser Mobility. This system delivers the signature Sennheiser sound trusted by music creatives and artists worldwide.

The range of powertrains includes TSI (petrol), mild hybrid (eTSI), TDI (diesel), and eHybrid (plug-in hybrid) options. The new generation plug-in hybrid delivers 272PS (200kW) and offers more than 100km of all-electric range. It is also compatible with fast charging, with up to 50kW DC charge.
