Citroen has opened UK orders for the latest generation of its ë-C5 Aircross, offering both hybrid and battery-electric (BEV) variants. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in October 2025, with pricing for the hybrid starting at £30,495 and the electric model beginning at £34,065.
The battery-electric ë-C5 Aircross is powered by a 210 hp (156 kW) electric motor and offers a driving range of up to 322 miles. It is available in three trim levels: ‘YOU!’, ‘PLUS’, and ‘MAX’. Prices for the electric version range from the base £34,065 for the entry model to £39,345 for the fully equipped ‘MAX’.
While all BEV trims share the same technical specifications, they differ in comfort and convenience features. The base ‘YOU!’ variant includes 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with High Beam Assist, a 13-inch touchscreen with 3D navigation, wireless charging, and adaptive cruise control. The ‘PLUS’ trim adds premium upholstery, dynamic lighting, keyless entry, front parking sensors, and a 180-degree reversing camera. The top-tier ‘MAX’ includes an extended head-up display, heated front seats, an advanced drive assist system, and a heat pump for efficiency in colder weather.
Citroen also confirmed that a long-range version of the electric SUV will follow later in 2025, delivering up to 421 miles of range on a single charge and powered by a 230 hp (169 kW) electric drivetrain.
The hybrid version uses a 110 kW petrol engine in combination with a 92 kW electric motor and a 21 kWh battery, offering up to 53 miles of electric range. Hybrid pricing ranges from £30,495 for the base trim to £35,775 for the range-topping model, with the same trim names and feature sets as the electric version.
The French automaker, a subsidiary of Stellantis, says the new ë-C5 Aircross marks a “new chapter in design,” with sharper curves, improved aerodynamics, and a more upright silhouette. Boot space remains a strong point for the model, offering 651 litres with the seats up and over 1,600 litres when the rear bench is folded down.
The ë-C5 Aircross was first introduced as a hybrid in 2018. The battery-electric version represents a significant step forward in Citroen’s electrification strategy. Orders are now being accepted through designated UK retailers, and Stellantis has confirmed that online ordering will be available shortly via the Citroen Online Store.
