Citroen has unveiled the updated Ami and the new Ami Buggy at the Paris Motor Show, both of which will be available for order starting May 6, with deliveries set to begin in August. The updated Ami will start at €7,990, maintaining the same base price as its predecessor, while the new Buggy version will be priced from €9,590.
The updated Ami offers a 75km range on a single charge, with a full recharge taking approximately 4 hours via AC. It will come in three new colour packs – ‘Spicy’, ‘Icy’, and ‘Minty’. The vehicle can be driven by individuals as young as 14 in France without a full driving license, though in the UK and other countries, it requires either an AM moped licence (available to 16-year-olds and up) or a full driving license.

Citroen has also introduced the Ami Buggy, which is designed for outdoor leisure use. The Buggy features an open design, with no doors or roof, and black metal hoops mounted on hinges replacing traditional doors. For those seeking more coverage, Citroen offers zipped door covers as an optional extra. The Buggy also features a soft top sunroof, a black spoiler, and 14” steel alloys with a gold finish. The vehicle is available in a unique ‘Palmeira’ yellow colour pack.
Both the Ami and Ami Buggy come equipped with various interior features, including three storage boxes, a bag hook, two floor flats, two door mats, a central partition net, and a smartphone holder. Citroen is also offering a modular cargo kit for customers who require additional storage space.

This kit can separate the driver and passenger areas or create a flat loading surface from the passenger seat, offering up to 340 litres of storage capacity for things like parcel deliveries. The modular kit can be folded and stored when not in use, restoring access to both seats.
