Chery’s premium brand Exeed has begun pre-sales of its ET5 midsize SUV, introducing an extended-range electric model aimed at young families as it broadens its ET product line. The company launched two variants priced at RMB 159,900 and RMB 174,900.

The ET5, first unveiled at the 2025 Chengdu auto show, enters a competitive market segment that includes rivals such as the BYD Song Plus DM-i, Leapmotor C11 and Changan Deepal S7. Exeed reiterated that the ET series reflects its design philosophy, noting that “ET stands for ‘Enjoy Time,’” which the company says embodies its goal of offering “a premium, joyful mobility experience for global family users,” according to the statement.
