ChargePoint Holding Inc. announced the launch of the CP6000, a global AC EV charging solution for all types of vehicles. The CP6000 is claimed to be the most flexible and serviceable charger currently available for all vehicle types and sizes.

“Today, we are pleased to announce that ChargePoint is taking our industry-leading charging portfolio to the next level with the addition of the ChargePoint 6000 Series (CP6000), a complete global platform for AC charging,” the company wrote in a statement.

ChargePoint has become an industry leader for superior software, hardware and services, and the CP6000 is the next stage in that evolution.

The CP6000 has customized solutions from the ground up so that software and hardware work seamlessly together with new and improved remote monitoring and diagnostic services to prevent and solve problems.

As with every other ChargePoint solution, the ChargePoint software gives businesses complete visibility and control over who can charge and when, and at what cost.

“ChargePoint’s mission is to make the transition to electric mobility simple. As a result of ChargePoint’s experience in shaping the charging industry over the past 15 years, we understand what matters to station owners and drivers,” ChargePoint Chief Product Officer Bill Loewenthal quoted Business Wire as saying.

The CP6000 has been designed across ChargePoint’s R&D facilities in North America and Europe to meet the charging needs of businesses, fleets, and EV drivers.

“Building on our more than a decade of experience serving EV drivers and organizations of all types, the CP6000 has what businesses need to be part of the future of electric mobility.”
