Cadillac Lyriq AWD launch in the Chinese market with 503 HP

Cadillac announced that it has started sales of the all-wheel drive (AWD) version of the Cadillac LYRIQ electric SUV in the Chinese domestic market.

The Detroit-based company under General Motors also announced that the Cadillac LYRIQ software system can be updated via cellular over-the-air (OTA) networks.

“LYRIQ AWD offers customers more choices, giving them a distinct personality and thrilling driving performance that they have long yearned for in an EV,” said Chris Biggs, vice president of Cadillac in China in an official broadcast on the company’s official website, Tuesday (27 /12).

“With the new AWD variant from LYRIQ and an enhanced customer experience, we look forward to building momentum for Cadillac EV while propelling the brand into the future,” he said.

The LYRIQ AWD, which sells for 479,700 RMB, is claimed to be able to travel up to 608 kilometers on a single charge.

The propulsion system used is two permanent magnet motors with a high-performance Ultium platform integrated at the front and rear of the vehicle.

The SUV can produce up to 375 kW of power and up to 710 Nm of torque. The company claims that LYRIQ can go from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
