The latest generation BYD e6 carries an aerodynamic MPV design, different from the previous boxed ones.
Looking at the dimensions, the new BYD e6 measures 4,695 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, 1,670 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm.
When compared to the previous e6, the new e6 has a smaller width and wheelbase even though the body is longer and taller.
In terms of performance, the latest BYD e6 is equipped with an electric motor that drives the front wheels with a power of 70 kW or 95 hp and a torque of 180 Nm.
Power for the electric motor is channeled from the Lithium-ion Blade Battery with a capacity of 71.7 kWh.
Despite the power and battery life of the previous e6, BYD claims the new e6 is capable of delivering an energy consumption of 17.1 kWh/100 km.
As for the mileage, BYD claims the latest e6 can cover 522 kilometers on the standard Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycles (WLTC) City.
The new e6 can be charged via a DC power of 60 kW or AC Type 2 with a power of 40 kW.
Then the features, the latest BYD e6 is equipped with a 5-inch digital instrument screen, a 10.1-inch rotatable touch screen head unit, 4 airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), electric trunk door, and Auto AC.
