BMW is promoting its i5 eDrive40 electric sedan in the United States with a lease offer that could reduce monthly payments to as low as $499. The deal, available until September 30, includes a $9,900 lease credit, combined with dealer contributions and capitalized cost reductions.
The 36-month lease arrangement features a $9,900 credit alongside a suggested $3,500 dealer contribution and a $4,225 capitalized cost reduction, allowing qualified applicants to lease the single-motor rear-wheel-drive sedan with payments starting at $499 per month. According to BMW, some lessees may not be required to provide a security deposit.
Lessees have the option to purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease for $34,963. The offer is available at participating BMW Centers across the US, excluding Puerto Rico. Additionally, eligible customers may combine the lease with certain incentive programs such as the BMW Loyalty Credit, applicable to previous BMW owners or lessees within the past 12 months, subject to qualification by BMW Financial Services.
The i5 eDrive40 delivers 335 horsepower, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds, and has an 84.3 kWh battery capable of providing up to 295 miles on a single charge. Fast DC charging adds approximately 100 miles of range in about 11 minutes. Key features include dual BMW Curved Displays measuring 12.3 and 14.9 inches, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a Harman Kardon Premium Sound System, and 17.3 cubic feet of cargo space.
