Joe Biden's visit to the Hummer electric car factory last November saw the number of orders for the electric SUV soar dramatically. It was known at that time that Joe Biden had tried the legendary SUV directly.

He even immediately tweeted on his official Twitter account about the performance of the electric Hummer. “As most people know, I'm a car lover. I've tried a lot of cars but I never thought I could experience such a powerful electric car. Our future is electric and this will be made live in America,” tweeted Joe Biden.

That support actually had a big impact on Hummer . It was reported that Carbuzz's orders for cars that would begin to be sent to consumers by the end of the year immediately jumped dramatically. Even bigger than when it was first released by General Motors (GM). The total increase in the number of orders increased 230 percent according to Duncan Aldred, GM vice president.

“Visitors to the official Hummer website soared and some immediately placed an order. Interestingly, they chose the highest variant,” said Duncan Aldred.

He continued that the support of the 46th President of the United States made people more confident in the quality of GM's electric SUV cars. They are increasingly convinced of the quality possessed by the super-powered electric truck.

“This is their first opportunity to experience the power of the world's first super electric truck,” said Duncan Aldred.

He continued that at this time the pre-production stage of the electric Hummer was coming to an end. Delivery to consumers, which will be carried out at the end of December, is in accordance with the plan. He also said that for the time being the model distributed until next year was the Hummer EV Edition 1.

So buyers of the other Hummer EV variants still have to wait until the production and distribution of the Hummer EV Edition 1 is complete. It is known that apart from the Hummer EV Edition 1, the other variants are EV3x, EV2x and EV2. Each variant has different features from each other.
