Bentley has revealed the EXP15, a striking new design concept that offers a glimpse into the future of the luxury brand’s electric grand tourers. Drawing on the brand’s historical legacy while adopting a bold new direction, the EXP15 combines dramatic design cues, a futuristic aesthetic, and an unusual three-seat configuration. The concept, although not bound for production, signals how Bentley is reimagining its identity ahead of its transition to fully electric models by 2035.
The EXP15 blends modern lighting technology and sharp, sculpted lines with nods to Bentley’s storied past, most notably the legendary “Blue Train” Speed Six. The design pays homage to the 1930s car made famous by a race against a French express train, a feat credited to Woolf Barnato, a racing driver and Bentley board member.

While the original vehicle was built as a bespoke three-seater coupe, the EXP15 offers a reinterpretation of that layout, featuring a far-right driver seat and a movable front passenger seat that can swivel or slide rearward. A third seat, located behind the driver, rounds out the unconventional layout.
From the exterior, the EXP15 fuses proportions found in SUVs, fastback sedans, and coupes – aligning with the crossover trend but avoiding categorization as a conventional SUV. Its illuminated upright grille, a symbolic holdover from Bentley’s combustion-era identity, anchors the front, flanked by sleek vertical light bars and crowned by a modern take on the brand’s Flying B emblem.

Slim horizontal lighting elements continue at the rear, giving the vehicle a futuristic yet distinctly Bentley signature. The long hood, though no longer required for a large engine, has been retained as a design hallmark, preserving the brand’s familiar silhouette.
While the concept showcases Bentley’s evolving design philosophy, the company has shared few technical specifications. Details such as powertrain, battery capacity, and platform architecture remain undisclosed, as the EXP15 serves primarily as a styling and conceptual study. The company’s first full-production electric model is still slated for 2026 and will reportedly be a luxury urban SUV.
