Aventon, the Brea, California-based electric bike brand known for offering quality at an affordable price, has unveiled its latest model, the Aventon Ramblas. This marks the brand’s entry into the dedicated electric mountain bike market, showcasing Aventon’s commitment to pushing boundaries in the e-bike industry.
Despite its reputation for budget-friendly electric bikes, Aventon has positioned the Ramblas to compete with higher-end e-bike models. This move underscores the brand’s evolution towards offering more refined and feature-rich bicycles in the budget category.

The standout feature of the Ramblas is its A100 mid-drive motor, developed in-house by Aventon. This IP67-rated motor boasts impressive torque and power, with a 250W continuous power rating and a peak output of 750W. The motor also features a torque sensor and can be personalized using the Aventon app, offering riders 15 pedal assist levels across three profiles: eco, trail, and turbo.
The 36V 708Wh battery, made up of 21700-format LG battery cells, provides a claimed range of up to 80 miles (130 km). The e-bike features a 6061 aluminum frame and comes equipped with a RockShox 35 fork with 130mm of travel, an SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, KS dropper seat post, and 4-piston SRAM hydraulic disc brakes.

Weighing in at 56 lbs (25.4 kg), the Ramblas is available in four frame sizes and features 29Ă2.4âł Maxxis tires, except for the S frame size, which comes with 27.5Ă2.4âł Maxxis tires. The e-bike lacks a throttle and has a top speed of 20 mph (32 km/h), making it a Class 1 electric bike in the US.
With an MSRP of $2,699, the Aventon Ramblas is now available for purchase on Aventon’s website and through its network of local dealers.
