Australian raw materials firm Syrah Resources has signed a binding agreement to supply Lucid Motors with natural graphite for use in lithium-ion battery production. The graphite will be sourced from Syrah’s U.S. facility in Vidalia, Louisiana, the company announced. Under the three-year contract starting in 2026, Lucid will purchase approximately 7,000 tonnes of graphite. Lucid Group  said on Tuesday that Peter Rawlinson will step down as chief executive officer after more than five years in the role, as the electric-vehicle maker expects to more than double its vehicle production this year.
