Hyundai beat their Japanese competitors for global hydrogen vehicle sales during the January-August period, according to a market research firm. Hyundai sold 7,410 hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) in the global market in an eight-month period, a 26 percent jump from 5,873 units sold during the same period last year, SNE Research said in a statement, citing data from the Global FCEV Monthly Tracker.
