NIO reported a record revenue of RMB 16.06 billion ($2.33 billion) in the fourth quarter of 2022, marking the 11th consecutive quarter of revenue growth for the company. However, NIO fell short of Wall Street expectations and its gross margin plummeted to single digits. Li Auto announced that it has installed over 200,000 home charging piles for its owners, underscoring the company’s commitment to meeting the needs of its customers. As of January 31, the company had made 272,475 cumulative deliveries, with more than 70% of owners installing home charging piles. NIO’s sub-brand, codenamed ALPS, is set to take advantage of the 800-volt high-voltage platform that enables faster vehicle charging.
