Aurrigo International plc, a UK-based provider of transport technology solutions, has entered into a formal partnership agreement with Singapore’s Changi Airport Group (CAG) to develop and test its autonomous vehicles, Auto-Dolly and Auto-DollyTug, and its airport simulation software platform Auto-Sim. The partnership will last for several years and is partially funded by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) through its Aviation Development Fund (ADF).
Changi Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, connecting Singapore to over 120 cities globally, with over 80 airlines operating more than 4,000 weekly flights. The partnership with CAG provides an opportunity for Aurrigo to further develop its autonomous baggage handling solutions at the airport and showcase the technology to other airports and stakeholders.

David Keene, CEO of Aurrigo, said that the partnership cements their collaboration with Changi and enables them to bring the best automated solutions to airlines and airports, improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Poh Li San, SVP of Terminal 5 Planning at Changi Airport Group, added that recruiting enough ground handling personnel and drivers to support the airport’s growth is a challenge, and Aurrigo’s innovative autonomous technologies can help address these issues.
Aurrigo designs, engineers, manufactures, and supplies autonomous vehicles and OEM products to the automotive and transport industries, with a particular focus on aviation. The company’s development and testing of autonomous vehicles are supported by the CAAS ADF, which supports initiatives to improve productivity in the Singapore aviation sector through the use of innovative solutions.
