Built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) shared with the Porsche Macan EV, the Q6 E-Tron and A6 E-Tron feature an 800-volt electrical architecture for rapid charging.
These models can also adjust to 400-volt charging by splitting battery current, allowing them to optimize charging speeds at lower-power stations. The Q6 E-Tron, for example, can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes.

Audi’s expanding EV lineup now consists of the PPE-based Q6 E-Tron and A6 E-Tron, alongside the Q4 E-Tron, which shares the MEB platform with Volkswagen’s ID.4, and the E-Tron GT, a twin of the Porsche Taycan.
These models succeed the Q8 E-Tron, which ended production in February, marking the next phase in Audi’s electrification strategy.
