Askoll just announced their latest model for 2022 which promises to look attractive and at an affordable price. Italian electric vehicle startup introduced a new single-battery version of the released eS2 EVOlution 1.4 and NGS2 1.4 models. Using a 1.4 kWh lithium-ion battery makes the scooter more affordable up to 800 Euros.
The consequences, of course, are on the range. With a small capacity, the resulting range will be shorter.
The latest Askoll model comes with a headlight feature that already uses LEDs to make it easier to see at night.
The latest model also comes with gears that make it easier for users, especially when parking and maneuvering in tight spaces. The reverse gear can be activated by flipping the switch on the right side of the handlebar.
Meanwhile, the Askoll eS2 EVOlution model gets a new side stand, as well as a redesigned transmission. The Askoll eS2 EVOlution uses a POLY-V unit and eliminates the belt drive system. With this change, it is claimed to improve performance and eliminate the whining sound produced by the previous version.
The Askoll eS2 EVOlution comes with a five-inch multi-colored instrument panel which can provide users with better visibility.
The Askoll eS2 EVOlution uses tires measuring 90/80 for the front, and 110/10 for the rear with support from 16-inch wheels.
