The Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) on Wednesday named Archer Aviation as its exclusive Air Taxi Partner, marking a major step in the company’s plans to bring electric air taxis to Southern California ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games.
Under the agreement, Archer will serve as an Official Host City Supporter for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Los Angeles and as an Official Super Bowl LXI Host Committee Partner. The partnership will allow Archer to work with LASEC to raise public awareness about air taxis and engage with community leaders, policymakers, and residents across the region.

“Los Angeles is about to host some of the most iconic events in the world and we’re honored to join LASEC in support of the mission to ensure those events leave a lasting legacy that benefits the community for decades to come,” said Adam Goldstein, Archer’s founder and CEO.
Archer said the collaboration strengthens its broader initiative to establish an air taxi network connecting major transportation corridors across Los Angeles before 2028. The company plans to develop vertiports throughout the region, supported by partnerships with airlines and infrastructure providers. Its all-electric Midnight aircraft is designed to replace long, traffic-heavy car trips with short, quiet, and zero-emission flights.

Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Archer will support local community initiatives led by the Host Committee. Goldstein will also join LASEC’s ChampionLA Core Leadership Group, while Chief Marketing Officer Miles Rogers will serve on the organization’s advisory board to provide strategic support.
