Apollo Unveils Lightweight Entry-Level Electric Scooter, the Apollo Go

Canadian electric scooter manufacturer Apollo has introduced its latest model, the Apollo Go, aimed at providing a portable yet powerful option for urban commuters. Departing from the conventional approach of utilizing off-the-shelf components, Apollo has engineered the Apollo Go from scratch to offer a unique blend of performance and portability.

With a focus on shedding weight without compromising on performance, the Apollo Go boasts impressive specifications. Equipped with dual motors rated at 350W each, capable of peaking at 750W, the scooter delivers fast speeds of up to 28 mph (45 km/h), making it more than just a neighborhood ride.

Despite its lightweight design, the Apollo Go doesn’t compromise on power. With a 36V 15Ah battery providing 540 Wh of capacity, the scooter offers ample range for most commuters while maintaining a svelte weight of just 46 lb (20.8 kg). This combination of power and portability makes it an attractive option for urban riders seeking convenience without sacrificing performance.

The Apollo Go features dual motors and suspension, allowing it to tackle inclines of up to 25% with ease while providing a comfortable ride quality. Additionally, the scooter comes equipped with self-healing tires, 360Âș surround LED lighting, IP66 waterproof rating, and fully enclosed braking system for added safety and convenience.

Priced at $1,099 during the launch sale, with an MSRP of $1,199, the Apollo Go offers competitive pricing compared to other entry-level electric scooters on the market.
