Andretti Formula E has confirmed that Felipe Drugovich will join the team for the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, partnering with Season 9 Drivers’ World Champion Jake Dennis for the final season of GEN3 Evo.
The 25-year-old Brazilian driver brings extensive international experience, highlighted by his dominant 2022 FIA Formula 2 campaign, which included five wins, 11 podiums, and a 101-point margin over his closest rival. Drugovich has also served as a reserve driver for the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team since 2022, participated in multiple Free Practice 1 sessions, and competed in endurance racing with Cadillac Racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and IMSA. In Formula E, he topped the 2023 Berlin Rookie Test and scored points on his debut at the 2025 Hankook Berlin E-Prix.
“I’m so happy to announce that I’ll be joining Andretti Formula E, and I’m really excited about what’s ahead,” Drugovich said. “It’s been far too long for me without racing, so I’m incredibly motivated to get back on a racetrack. It means a lot to know I’ll be competing in every session and not just serving as a reserve, as I have done the past few years.”
Drugovich becomes the first Brazilian to race for Andretti Formula E, joining a legacy of Brazilian drivers in the series, including Nelson Piquet Jr., Bruno Senna, Felipe Massa, and Lucas di Grassi. His addition strengthens Andretti’s lineup, which has competed in Formula E since the inaugural 2014/15 season. The team has accumulated 11 victories, 39 podiums, 14 pole positions, 446 laps led, and 1,369 championship points. Jake Dennis secured the Season 9 Drivers’ World Championship, reinforcing Andretti’s standing as a leading independent team in the all-electric series.
