Alpitronic, a South Tyrolean manufacturer of DC fast charging stations, has appointed René Krahn as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Lars Kuba as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The leadership changes come as the company seeks to strengthen its operations and customer engagement in the evolving electric mobility market.
The adjustments follow a period of reduced production in response to fluctuating demand and customer stock levels. According to the company, these appointments are part of a broader strategy to enhance operational capabilities and maintain its position as a provider of high-power charging solutions.
René Krahn, formerly with Continental, brings extensive experience in mechanical and production engineering, change management, and digital transformation. As COO, Krahn will focus on optimizing production processes, implementing scalable systems, and fostering collaboration to increase capacity while maintaining product quality.
Krahn replaces Thomas Schultze, who departed Alpitronic in November 2024 after nearly three years in the role. Schultze has since taken a new position outside the electric mobility sector as COO of Minitube International AG.
Lars Kuba joins Alpitronic as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, having previously worked with Huawei Technologies Deutschland. Kuba’s expertise in revenue growth, team development, and scaling operations is expected to enhance Alpitronic’s ability to meet customer needs in the charging infrastructure sector.
The leadership additions reflect Alpitronic’s efforts to adapt to market dynamics while continuing to support the transition to electric mobility. The company, recognized for its Hypercharger product line, aims to balance operational efficiency with innovation in a competitive environment.
Alpitronic’s leadership team now includes co-founders Philipp Senoner (CEO) and Andreas Oberrauch (CTO), alongside executives Wolfgang Ademmer (CMO), Andreas Rogger (CHRO), and Patrik Herrnegger (CFO). The Board of Directors features co-founders Sigrid Zanon and Alessandro Ciceri.
