Allego, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has announced the opening of its 107th public fast-charging station in France in partnership with the French distribution network operator, Enedis. The milestone was celebrated on the anniversary of their roll-out, which started exactly twelve months ago.

The latest addition to Allego’s network is located in Rambouillet, in the Yvelines region of France. The company now operates a total of 120 fast-charging stations in the country and aims to increase this number to more than 300 by 2024.

“Allego is demonstrating its ability to deploy and maintain charging infrastructure on a very large scale,” said Mathieu Bonnet, CEO at Allego. “We want to position ourselves as a partner of choice to support landowners in the valuation of their assets and in their adaptation to the new modes of transport of their customers.”

Allego’s charging stations offer up to 300 kW of power and are equipped with two connections each. In addition, each location includes a triple charger with a power output of up to 50 kW, providing a total of eleven charging points per site. The company’s charging solutions are connected to its EV Cloud platform, providing customers with a seamless charging experience.

Earlier this year, Allego partnered with Vinci Autoroutes to open four fast-charging parks in France, each with four Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC300s and a triple charger. The company has also been expanding its network through the acquisition of Mega-E, a pan-European fast-charging network. Allego has already installed almost 770 charging points at 100 sites as part of this initiative.
