Car.los has introduced its V1 electric cargo bike in Germany, offering a practical solution for urban transport with its foldable design and high-capacity features.
The V1 is available in two versions: the V1 Basic and V1 Full, with the primary difference being the inclusion of a collapsible front basket in the Full model. The V1 Full’s basket can carry up to 65 kg (143 lbs), while the total permissible weight, including the rider, reaches 195 kg (430 lbs).
The V1 is powered by a Brose Drive T motor, offering a top speed of 25 km/h (16 mph) and paired with a 552Wh battery.
While the company has not disclosed the exact range, the bike features an Enviolo N380 cargo stepless transmission and Magura MT-5 hydraulic disc brakes, ensuring a smooth and reliable ride. Schwalbe Pick-Up tires, 16 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear, provide added stability and traction.
Designed for ease of storage and transportation, the V1 boasts a foldable aluminum frame weighing 34 kg (75 lbs). When unfolded, it measures 2,010 x 650 x 1,150 mm (79.1 x 25.6 x 45.3 inches), and when folded, it reduces to 1,080 x 440 x 830 mm (42.5 x 17.3 x 32.7 inches). The bike also includes a 1.5-inch TFT color display and an 80 Lux headlight for enhanced visibility.
