The Mobility House and Monta have joined forces to advance smart charging solutions for electric vehicle (EV) fleets and private users. This collaboration will see The Mobility House integrate Monta’s advanced billing software into its offerings, aimed at providing fleet managers and EV owners with streamlined, transparent control over charging processes.
The partnership responds to Germany’s growing demand for electrified company cars, which represented 41% of the nation’s auto market last year, with 1.2 million vehicles leased or purchased. Commenting on the expanded focus, Heiko Bayer from The Mobility House noted, “With additional use cases such as company car charging at home, the requirements for billing are becoming ever more comprehensive. With Monta, we have found a solution that provides answers here.”
The new service will allow businesses to manage energy and charging needs efficiently, supporting both workplace and home charging setups. “Together, we can offer fleet managers a comprehensive product,” said Christian Kurtenbach, Monta’s Director of Strategic Sales, adding that the solution “optimises capacity utilisation and availability of charging stations,” crucial for EV adoption in corporate fleets.
This collaboration aims to foster a seamless experience in EV fleet management, covering everything from installation to billing, to facilitate broader EV adoption in Germany’s corporate sector.
