Do you still remember the Tesla Model S which was given three jet engines? Yup, a crazy project that was done by the team behind the Warped Perception Youtube channel some time ago.
At that time, the Model S with three jet engines was tested to determine its performance. As a result, acceleration from 0-96 km/h can be completed in just 3.32 seconds.
But if it’s only in the form of numbers, it will feel less. Therefore, the AMS Performance modification workshop also tries to provide a more real comparison.
In a video uploaded to the AMS Performace Youtube channel, this modification workshop invites a Tesla Model S with a jet engine to be retested.
This time the test opponent is not half-hearted, because there is a Tesla Model S Plaid ready to be used as a comparison.
Keep in mind, the Tesla Model S Plaid is equipped with three electric motors that produce a combined power of 1,020 hp and 1,050 Nm of torque.
In terms of performance, Tesla claims the Plaid Model S can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 1.99 seconds with a top speed of 321 km/h.
The test is in the form of a drag race 6 times which is carried out on an empty road. Surprisingly, a Tesla Model S with a jet engine can bloat a Plaid Model S 3 times.
Although the next 3 times the modified electric car failed, because there was a problem with one of the jet engines.
