Lamborghini has launched its first plug-in hybrid Super SUV, the Urus SE, at the Nardò Technical Center (NTC). This new model combines high-performance capabilities with hybrid technology, reflecting the brand’s efforts toward electrification.
The Urus SE is equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor, delivering a combined power output of 800 CV (588 kW), making it the most powerful Urus model to date.
The Urus SE features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, producing 950 Nm of torque. This setup enables the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h. The SUV can also accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds, highlighting its high-performance capabilities.
A new longitudinal electric torque vectoring system, combined with an electro-hydraulic multi-plate clutch, allows for variable torque distribution between the front and rear axles. This system works with the rear axle’s electronic limited-slip differential, providing enhanced handling and agility across different driving conditions.
The plug-in hybrid Urus SE is powered by a 25.9 kWh battery, offering a fully electric range of over 60 km. It comes with Pirelli tires, including P Zero in three sizes (21”, 22”, and 23”) and Scorpion Winter 2 in 22”, designed for different driving environments.
Additionally, Lamborghini’s Elect™ technology improves compatibility with electric driving modes, further enhancing its performance.
