The new Porsche Macan Electric will provide Canadian buyers with two years of complimentary charging at Electrify Canada stations. With a starting price of $94,900, the Macan Electric is equipped for ultra-fast charging, making it a convenient option for long-distance travel. Under optimal conditions, the vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
Porsche Cars Canada has partnered with Electrify Canada to include two years of complimentary 30-minute charging sessions at public stations across the country with all new Macan Electric models. This offer is valid at Electrify Canada highway and metro stations, as well as many Porsche Centres. The price for the base model starts at $94,900, while higher variants, such as the Macan Turbo, are priced up to $125,300.
The Macan Electric features an 800-volt architecture that allows for DC fast charging capacity of up to 270 kW. The growing network of Electrify Canada stations includes chargers capable of delivering power levels up to 350 kW, ensuring efficient charging for vehicle owners.
Trevor Arthur, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada, stated that “Every Porsche is a sports car at its core, and the new Macan Electric is no exception.” He noted that the expanding Electrify Canada network enables fast charging while allowing owners to enjoy scenic routes across the country.
Canadian buyers can activate the charging benefit upon vehicle delivery. This service grants access to Electrify Canada’s expanding infrastructure, featuring over 40 next-generation Hyper-Fast chargers located along major highways and metro areas in provinces such as British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Owners can utilize the Porsche Charging Services app or in-vehicle navigation to find available charging stations.
