Tesla will return to the 2024 Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l’Auto) after a six-year absence, marking its reappearance at the automotive event set to take place from October 14 to 20, 2024. Tesla’s last participation at the Paris Motor Show was in 2018, when it introduced the Model 3 sedan, a vehicle that contributed to making electric cars more accessible to a broader market.
For the 2024 event, Tesla is expected to showcase its full range of vehicles. This includes the Model Y, which became the best-selling vehicle globally by volume last year, the updated Model 3 sedan, as well as its flagship models, the Model S and Model X. The electric vehicle manufacturer’s lineup will highlight its developments in electric mobility over the past several years.

A key attraction at Tesla’s exhibit is anticipated to be the Cybertruck, the company’s all-electric pickup truck known for its distinctive design and innovative features. The Paris Motor Show’s official website also indicated that Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, will be part of the display.
Serge Gachot, Director of the Mondial de l’Auto, welcomed Tesla’s return, noting, “We are delighted to welcome the pioneers of the electric car to the Mondial de l’Auto: the only thing missing was Tesla! We will thus bring together all the elements for a great celebration of the automobile.”
The Paris Motor Show, which first took place in 1898, is one of the longest-running automotive exhibitions in the world. With its roots in showcasing vehicles powered by both combustion engines and electric motors, Tesla’s return in 2024 emphasizes the increasing focus on electric vehicles in the automotive industry.
