Bollinger Motors has unveiled the pricing for its all-electric B4 Chassis Cab, with a starting MSRP of $158,758 for the 2025 model year. Series production commenced in mid-September, and the company expects to begin customer deliveries next month.
The B4, first introduced in 2022, is built on an 800-volt platform featuring rear-axle electric drive and two LFP battery packs with a combined energy capacity of 158 kWh. This configuration allows for a maximum range of 185 miles (approximately 300 kilometers). The batteries, sourced from Our Next Energy (ONE) under a 2022 agreement, can be charged using both AC at 19.2 kW and DC at 110 kW, enabling a full charge from zero to 100% in nine hours and two hours, respectively.
Customers in California may benefit from significant financial incentives, including approximately $100,000 in federal and state subsidies. Under the Inflation Reduction Act, purchasers may qualify for up to $40,000 in federal tax credits, while California’s Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project offers rebates of up to $60,000.
The B4 can be customized with various dealer accessories and factory options, including an air shield and the Mobileye Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS). Additionally, an electric power takeoff unit (e-PTO) is set to be available starting in January.
Jim Connelly, chief revenue officer for Bollinger Motors, stated, “Our team has listened to our customers and created a world-class electric truck to fill an important segment of the Class 4 commercial fleet market. We feel that we are bringing a versatile and valuable truck to market at a competitive price point. When combined with the variety of incentives available to potential customers, we believe the B4 makes the fleet transition to electric a no-brainer.”
