Mate Rimac, the founder of Rimac Automobili, has recently taken delivery of his personalized Nevera hypercar, showcasing a stunning array of bespoke features that set his vehicle apart from the rest.

The exterior of Rimac’s Nevera is a sight to behold, featuring dark red carbon fiber meticulously placed to maintain a seamless weave across multiple panels. Contrasting the red carbon fiber are various components finished in black carbon fiber, including parts of the hood, elements near the front wheels, and trim along the sides.

The vehicle’s customization extends to its wheels, which are finished in black, complemented by bright red brake calipers. Hand-painted Croatian flags adorn the side mirrors, while a lightning motif under the rear spoiler pays tribute to the Mediterranean storms off the Croatian coast that inspired the Nevera’s name.

Inside, the hypercar boasts an asymmetric design, with the driver’s side predominantly black and the passenger side bathed in red. Nappa leather and Alcantara are used throughout the cabin, with metal accents on the door handles, steering wheel buttons, and infotainment controls. Personal touches include ‘K8’ embroidered on the passenger headrest for Rimac’s wife, Katarina, and ‘M8’ on the driver headrest. A plaque between the seats indicates that this Nevera is #013 of the 150 units planned for production.

Additionally, embroidered motifs of Solinjanka, a sculpture of a woman found at the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, add a unique flair to the interior.

Reflecting on the customization process, Rimac expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s kind of a crazy experience to be a customer of your own company, and I probably wasn’t the easiest customer either.” He emphasized the collaborative nature of the customization process, likening it to the experience shared with all customers. “The result not only looks great but it tells an important story for me,” Rimac added.
