Kia and Electrify America have jointly announced a promotional offer for first-time buyers of the 2024 Kia EV9 in the United States. Under this arrangement, purchasers will receive a complimentary 1,000 kWh of charging through Electrify America’s extensive network, comprising over 3,000 charging stations nationwide.

This incentive, available exclusively through the Electrify America app, allows users to manage payments, locate stations, and monitor charger status.

It’s important to note that the 1,000 kWh free allowance cannot be utilized when initiating charging via the interface screen or buttons on the charging station. Additionally, the benefit does not cover idle fees or applicable taxes incurred at the charging station. Once the 1,000 kWh limit is reached, charging will continue at the prevailing Electrify America rate at that specific moment.

Buyers of the 2024 Kia EV9 will have a three-year window from the date of purchase to utilize the complimentary charging allowance. The promotion imposes no restrictions on the number of eligible charging sessions or the kWh amount available in each session. This initiative extends the promotion previously offered for the Niro and EV6 models, marking the EV9 as the third Kia vehicle to benefit from this collaborative effort.
