Chinese electric motorcycle manufacturer Yadea took center stage at the 2023 Milan Motorcycle Show EICMA, revealing its newest creation, the Kemper electric motorcycle. This cutting-edge model boasts a top speed of 99mph and introduces several notable features, including high-speed charging and enhanced performance compared to its gasoline counterpart.
The Yadea Kemper electric motorcycle represents a significant leap forward in terms of comfort, acceleration, maintenance, and environmental impact. Notably, its charging capabilities set it apart in the electric motorcycle landscape. The Kemper offers a remarkable 10-minute fast charging option, propelling it to the forefront in terms of charging speed. A mere ten-minute charge session can replenish up to 80% of the motorbike’s battery capacity.
Under the hood, the Yadea Kemper is equipped with a centrally mounted 23kW motor, delivering a peak power of 40kW. Accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds, the motorcycle features a 320V 20Ah LiFePO4 battery with a 6.4kWh capacity. Safety features include Bosch ABS and traction control, along with Brembo brakes. The bike is classified as a L3e-A2 motorcycle in Europe, equipped with KYB suspension. A 7-inch TFT color display provides riders with essential information, complemented by a built-in 1080p dash cam for recording and storing important footage on a memory card.
As a leading manufacturer of electric scooters and e-bikes, Yadea anticipates that the Kemper will set new standards in the electric motorcycle market. While pricing details and a full release date remain undisclosed, the company is expected to reveal these crucial details in the near future as the official release of the Yadea Kemper approaches.
