Tesla enthusiasts and automotive fans have been eagerly awaiting any glimpse of the highly anticipated Tesla Cybertruck, especially when it comes to its frunk size and storage capacity. With Tesla yet to release official details, recent sightings of the Cybertruck at Giga Texas have provided valuable insights.

During a drone flyover by Joe Tegtmeyer, the newly built Cybertruck was spotted outside Giga Texas, shedding light on the frunk’s dimensions. Notably, the frunk’s opening spans the entire width of the electric pickup truck, similar to the F-150 Lightning’s frunk.

A leaked photo from a few weeks ago caused some concern about the frunk space, as it appeared unusually small. However, this latest sighting revealed a significant detail—the frunk tub liner was present, which was previously missing in the leaked photo. Though exact measurements are difficult to estimate, the frunk liner seems notably deeper than initially thought, exceeding the depth of the Model 3 and Model Y frunks. Additionally, the substantial width suggests the Cybertruck may offer a decent amount of storage space in the frunk.

Considering the Cybertruck’s fresh status, just rolling off the production line, it is likely that production versions will come equipped with the same aero covers seen on the prototype. Giga Texas is diligently testing and calibrating the production lines, indicating that series production could commence in the near future, possibly even this month.

As the Cybertruck continues to generate anticipation, Tesla enthusiasts eagerly await further updates and official specifications from the company itself. Until then, these glimpses of the Cybertruck’s frunk provide a promising outlook for potential owners seeking practical storage solutions in the highly innovative electric pickup truck.
