BorgWarner Expands Ramos Arizpe Campus in Mexico, Generating 280 New Jobs

Automotive supplier BorgWarner has recently disclosed its undisclosed investment in the Ramos Arizpe Campus located in Mexico. This strategic move is expected to result in the creation of approximately 280 new employment opportunities.

The primary objective of this investment is to facilitate the production of cutting-edge battery cooling plates, which will be utilized in the forthcoming generation of electric vehicles manufactured by a prominent carmaker. Joe Fadool, President and General Manager of BorgWarner Emissions, Thermal and Turbo Systems, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that this substantial investment will not only drive progress and enhancements in manufacturing capabilities, but also reinforce the exceptional quality and dependability of their products in the eyes of their valued customers.

In February, BorgWarner received a significant order for the aforementioned cooling plates from a major German vehicle manufacturer. This order highlights the increasing demand for battery and e-mobility solutions across Europe and the United States.

It appears that BorgWarner is actively pursuing expansion initiatives. Just last month, the company unveiled plans to upgrade its facilities in South Carolina and Michigan, reinforcing its battery and e-mobility capacities in those regions.

As BorgWarner continues to make strategic investments and strengthen its presence in the automotive industry, the company is poised to contribute to the ongoing advancement of electric mobility while meeting the evolving needs of its customers.
