In recent times, Fisker has successfully manufactured multiple mid-trim level all-wheel-drive Fisker Ocean Ultras. Furthermore, they have produced front-wheel-drive Fisker Ocean Sports, the lowest-priced trim level, for the purpose of testing and homologation. The automaker aims to begin customer deliveries of these trims in September.
Notably, the Fisker Ocean Extreme trim level has recently obtained WLTP certification in Europe, boasting a range of up to 707 km/440 UK miles (on 20-inch wheels and tires). This range sets a record for the longest range among any battery-electric SUV currently available in the region.
Fisker has adopted a unique strategy of simultaneously pursuing homologation for the Fisker Ocean in Europe and the United States. This approach allows them to adjust production and sales based on the demand in each region. Henrik Fisker highlighted the flexibility enabled by their business model and acknowledged that the announcement of the WLTP range for the Fisker Ocean Extreme has led to an increase in European reservations.
Furthermore, the Fisker Ocean has received the prestigious 2023 Red Dot Product Design Award for Best Electric Vehicle.
