Tesla is making significant strides in its hiring efforts as it prepares for the production of its highly anticipated Cybertruck. The electric automaker is expected to revolutionize the electric pickup truck market with its track record of producing high-volume electric vehicles and over 1.5 million reservations for the Cybertruck.

Industry experts are closely monitoring the Cybertruck production program, which is set to launch later this year. The program has already seen progress, with production equipment and a Cybertruck body being developed at the Gigafactory Texas. Additionally, Beta prototypes have been spotted testing on the road.

To track the program’s progress, Tesla has recently posted dozens of new job openings specifically linked to Cybertruck production. Most notably, the automaker has posted seven new jobs related to the Cybertruck paint shop, including Controls Engineer, Paint – Cybertruck, Automation Engineer, Paint – Cybertruck, and Process Engineer, Paint – Cybertruck. While most of the Cybertruck is made of stainless steel and won’t require paint, there are still a few parts that need to be painted.

Tesla has also posted several new production manager and supervisor positions related to different Cybertruck production units. These include Production Control Supervisor – Cyber, Production Control Associate Manager – Cyber, and Production Associate Manager, Battery Pack – Cyber.

This increase in hiring efforts indicates that Tesla is in the midst of deploying its Cybertruck production line at Gigafactory Texas. The automaker aims to begin production this summer, but significant deliveries are not expected until 2024 when volume production begins.
