Honda expand capabilities of Sensing 360 and Sensing Elite safety systems

Honda Motor is developing the latest generation of Honda Sensing technology, namely the Honda Sensing 360 and the Honda Sensing Elite.

Honda Sensing 360 technology will be made in order to reduce the burden on the driver by detecting abnormal conditions that occur in the driver and also the environment around the vehicle and can further reduce the risk of collisions with the 360 omnidirectional feature.

In its official statement, Honda Sensing 360 is planned to be implemented sequentially starting in 2024.

The technology in the Honda Sensing 360 consists of Advanced In Lane Driving with Hands-off Function, Driver Emergency Support System, Exit Warning, Driver Attention Warning and Collision Warning, In-Lane Collision Avoidance Assist Technology and Emergency Steering Support Technology.

Meanwhile, Honda Sensing Elite will be developed into new technology to help drivers achieve a safe and undisturbed journey from home to their destination with peace of mind in any road conditions, including freeways, utilizing the recognition and understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. from Honda.

Honda Sensing Elite consists of Driver assistance on non-expressway roads, Automatic parking assist, Driver assistance for all expressway driving situations.

This new technology is also planned to be applied sequentially globally starting in 2024.

The goal of the two new technologies is to halve the global traffic accident death rate involving Honda motorcycles and cars by half by 2030.
