Pininfarina starts customer deliveries of Battista electric hypercars in US

Pininfarina began shipping the Battista electric hypercar to a customer in the US, a private collector on the West Coast. The exterior of this car is wrapped in a silver color called Argento Liquido complete with Carbon Accent Pack which adds carbon fiber mirrors.

Elsewhere, the roof of the hypercar is given a Nero finish with the additional option of an Exterior Jewelery Pack which adds red brushed aluminum accents and is equipped with red brake calipers and gloss black center-locking wheels.

The Battista’s cabin is decorated with chrome-free leather that has been tanned by a local supplier using leaves from regional olive trees. What immediately catches the eye is the red leather that goes all over the seats, complete with black contrast stitching and quilting. A special lock with a red aluminum stripe was also made for its owner.

Pininfarina spent more than 1,250 hours building and assembling the first Pininfarina for the US. The second example built was the first of five Battista Anniversario models which took 18 weeks and 1,340 hours to complete.

“The team and I are extremely proud of Automobili Pininfarina’s expansion in the US and the successful delivery of the first Battista car in the United States,” said Automobili Pininfarina chief executive Per Svantesson.

“This car marks our presence in the luxury electric car segment specifically in the US and in the world in general. With collectors excited to receive the first Battista in North America, we see tremendous confidence in the masterpieces of design and technology in this community.” continued Svantesson.

North America is a very special region for Automobili Pininfarina. The public’s taste for exceptional design and the demand for innovative electric luxury cars mean that the majority of the 150 Battista made in Italy will be owned by our US buyers.
