Electric motorcycle manufacturer from China, Davinci, has just introduced a new line up of electric motorcycles.
This electric motorcycle is called Davinci DC100 Classic with a retro modern cafe racer style. This Davinci DC100 Classic takes the base of the regular Davinci DC100 but carries a modern retro design language.
The Davinci DC100 Classic electric motorcycle removes the futuristic bodywork found in the standard DC100.
There are additional round headlights, with the motor drive and battery shown exposed. Then there is a change in the seat by using a brown leather single seat.
Plus the cockpit has a low clip-on handlebar that gives the rider an aggressive cafe racer style. Davinci claims that the DC Classic produces the same performance as a 1,000 cc motorcycle.
The electric drive produces a staggering 135 horsepower and 850 Nm (595 ft-lbs) of torque. In fact, the DC100 Classic claims should be able to do fast acceleration.
However, like most electric motorcycles, direct current is limited by the gears. Therefore, this electric motorcycle can only reach a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour (125 miles per hour).
Regarding the battery, the manufacturer claims that DC can provide a range of up to 223 miles or about 358 Kilometers on a single charge.
Davinci also uses components from high-end aftermarket parts. For example, there are Ohlins shock absorbers for the rear suspension.
There is also braking with Brembo monoblock calipers and a Brembo RCS19 radial master cylinder brake.
The legs use forged rims wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires. Davinci DC100 Classic electric motorcycle to sell for over $30,000 USD
